Rules & Policies 

Eligibility 

Adult and non-collegiate competitors are welcome. No competitors under the age of 18 will be allowed.

Double Registration

Double registration is permitted within two levels across all events. For example: if you are competing in Silver and Gold Rhythm, you may compete in Silver and/or Gold Standard, but not Bronze (regardless of role).

Levels

Newcomer - Started dancing no earlier than January 2026. No syllabus restrictions, though we recommend that only Bronze syllabus steps are danced.
Bronze - Started dancing no earlier than August 2024. Only Bronze syllabus steps may be danced.
Silver - Only Silver and Bronze syllabus steps may be danced
Gold - Only Gold, Silver, and Bronze syllabus steps may be danced. No open work.
Syllabus - Gold, Silver, and Bronze syllabus steps may be danced.  No open work.

Lifts are not permitted in any level or style.

We are not planning on offering any Open divisions, but if you would like to still participate in the event, please reach out to us by email and we can see if there are alternative ways you could participate, such as through a performance.  

Costumes

There are no costume restrictions. Costumes are allowed in all levels and events.

Partnerships 

TBA (to be assigned) partnerships are allowed. We strongly believe that everyone who registers should be able to dance, and we will try our best to match TBAs where needed. Unfortunately, we cannot 100% guarantee a TBA partner, especially in Silver or Gold.

Gender-neutral partnerships are allowed. Role switching allowed.
